Hitachi Elevator (China) Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Hitachi Elevator"), in concert with China Resources Tower, launched the Landmark?Cloud-Based Intelligent Transport campaign in Shenzhen, China on June 9. It is the first time that the two entities have joined hands to host such an event.
At the site, engineers from Hitachi Elevator explained the safety considerations when taking an elevator, traffic rules for super high-rise buildings, and intelligent elevator maintenance services. In a move to enhance public awareness, an elevator knowledge and Q&A interactive area was designated in the building where residents could gain a better understanding of traffic flow and elevator safety in super high-rise structures.
The tallest skyscraper along Shenzhen Bay, China Resources Tower is a large mixed-use, environmentally-responsible complex comprised of offices, residences and entertainment venues, all of which have been connected via the deployment of an intelligent building transportation solution from Hitachi Elevator.
Considering the architectural features of the building, Hitachi Elevator put together a lineup of solutions through the application of artificial intelligence, IoT and big data resulting in a package that included double-deck elevators, ultra-high speed elevators, an intelligent group control system and a destination floor reservation system (DFRS), allowing occupants and visitors to move efficiently and with ease, while using intelligence to optimize energy management of the building transportation network and reduce the use of energy.
The elevator maker has also provided the building with Intelligent+ cloud-based services, a round-the-clock monitoring system to keep track of every elevator in the building and deliver predicative failure insights based on the AI analysis of the system’s data, to ensure that all elevators are operating correctly at all times, keeping some 7,000 passengers moving smoothly throughout.
Wang Lin, manager of China Resources Property Services (Shenzhen) Co., Ltd, said that by relying on Hitachi Elevators intelligent solutions and services, the property owner has been able to make informed and intelligent decisions concerning elevator operation and maintenance, streamline management and go paperless, vastly raising operational efficiencies. At the event, on behalf of the property owner, Mr. Wang presented Hitachi Elevator with a plaque that was inscribed "Trustworthy Quality Service Provider”.
